Design
Not all projects require a design service but for full garden makeovers it's an essential part of the process. At the first client meeting the requirements for the space will be discussed both practically and aesthetically along with the budget. A second meeting will then be arranged when the design will be presented with a full itemised quote and material recommendations. Once the client is happy a start date for work will be arranged.

Build
A wide range of construction services are offered. Please see below for more details. We use local horticulturalists for our planting plans.

Patios
The range of paving materials is vast and the final choice will depend on the look we're trying to achieve and the budget available. However, no matter which style is selected the price for installation will remain the same. So don't be too concerned if your heart is swaying towards the more expensive granite, travertine or limestone designs. Patio feature kits such as circles or octagons can work well in more traditional designs. Staggered laying patterns and 45 degree twists are popular for contemporary spaces.

Walls
The range of walling materials is as large as the paving and many designs are available to match your patio. Again, the design is crucial in determining what type of wall will work best. Stone looks great in a classic English garden. Matching the brickwork on the house ensures the design flows consistently and rendered blockwork or contemporary textured stone are best for sleek modern designs.

Driveways
The art of a good driveway is in the preparation of the sub base. A solid compacted base of MOT Type 1 Roadstone is essential and a weed control membrane will help reduce the time spent on its upkeep. The block paviors selected will need to complement or contrast the overall colour of the house. Matching walling and edging is available for many designs and it's important to try and leave some garden space to soften the overall look.

Fencing
Go for taller panels and concrete posts and gravel boards if it's privacy, security and lower maintenance you're after. If you want to splash out a bit more then select from the increasing range of stylish panels now available.

Decking
Whether it's single level, split level, wrap around, boardwalks or balustrading, we've got it covered when it comes to decking. We also use decking as a method of cladding your boundary lines which creates a completely different look to your space and provides a stunning backdrop to your planting scheme. Go for softwood if you're on a budget or upgrade to hardwood for the ultimate look.

Pergolas
Pergolas are obviously great for climbing plants and providing a little rustic charm to your garden. However, from a design perspective they can also help balance the look of the design by adding a crucial bit of height or masking the starkness of the side of a garage which is increasingly found on new builds.

Lawns
Rather like driveways, it's all in the preparation of the sub-base. The clay and rubble that you often find in the gardens of newly built properties has to be removed and replaced with free draining soil. Roll the soil until it's nice and compact and the turf does the rest. Great for family gardens or even small plots to add a little colour.

Water Features
Due to the ever increasing range of styles, water features are very popular. From stainless steel spheres and slate monoliths to bubbling pots and plunging waterfalls, the list is endless. Most are mains operated so we'll install all the cables and connect so you can switch it on and off from the comfort of your house.

Outdoor Lighting
Lighting is an essential part of the garden. Not only does it prolong the use of your space but when you're not using it you can sit back and admire the magical effect it has on your plants and features.
