West Bridgford, Nottingham. This 275 square meter garden was transformed from a post World War 2 era mess into a contemporary modern day family garden. A large hardwood deck provides the initial entertaining area, elevated from the rest of the garden providing a sun trap. Two large raised beds rendered in invory stone flank the central steps down to the lush open lawn. A second seating area is provided at the back of the garden to catch the evening sun and provide supervisory space for the adjacent children's play area. Low voltage stainless steel lighting is fitted throughout the design to provide the wow factor after dark and enhance the planting plan.
